February 1, 2024 Hi, I'm Keita. I'll talk about school test. The Department of International Economics had tests in Macroeconomics, Introduction to Economic Mathematics, and Introduction to International Economics. All of the tests were relatively easy to study for because I was given past papers by my seniors. Some of the questions on the tests themselves were almost identical to those in the past, so I was glad to have solved past tests, and I felt that I should get past tests from my seniors in advance.  January 25, 2024 Hi, I'm Keita. I'll talk about fun lunch time. After my second period class, my friends and I went to Coco Ichibanya near the university. At first we were going to go to Yoshinoya, but it was very crowded so we decided to go to Coco Ichibanya. Coco Ichibanya has a large menu and you can choose the spiciness, so I had a hard time deciding, but I ordered the Omu Curry. It looked much tastier than it looked in the picture.  January 16, 2024 Hi, I'm Keita. I'll talk about a ramen restaurant called "Fuuten". My friends and I went to a ramen restaurant called "Fuuten". I had eaten ramen the day before, so I wasn't sure if I wanted to go to Fuuten, but I was glad I did because Fuuten's mazesoba was even better than usual. Also, as a free gift to finish off the mazesoba, I was given "oi-meshi," which I mixed with the rest of the soup to make it even more satisfying, which I thought was a very nice service for students. And most importantly, Fuuten has a variety of seasonings, so it is very nice to be able to change the flavor to your liking! The mazesoba was really tasty, but I ordered a medium portion, which was a little short, so I would like to have a large or extra large portion next time.  January 8, 2024 Hi, I'm Keita. I'll talk about "Spy Family" movie. My friends and I saw the "Spy Family" movie at the Bandai movie theater. I had never seen any of the Spy Family cartoons or comics, so I was very unsure if I wanted to see that movie. However, my friend invited me to see the movie and I found it very interesting, so I thought it was a good decision. The movie introduced the characters at the beginning, so it was very easy to understand the content. "Spy Family" is a home comedy in which a spy man, a killer woman, and a psychic girl, who were strangers, establish a "temporary family" and struggle with daily troubles to live a "normal life as a family. The film is full of highlights, such as how the family overcomes the difficulties that come their way, so be sure to check it out!

 January 4, 2024 Hi, I'm Keita. I'll talk about two things. First, I visited a Yahiko Shrine on New Year’s Day. Despite it being New Year's Day, many people were there. So it took a while to visit the shrine, but we were glad that it was our turn and we were able to tell our thoughts to the gods. Then, on the way home, we bought an omamori (good luck charm) and omikuji (fortune). I hope the amulet will protect me. The omikuji was a medium lucky, but not a bad one, so I was happy.  December 22, 2023 Hi, I'm Keita. I'll talk about a wrap-up party with the student committee. I had a wrap-up party with the student committee at a restaurant near Niigata Station. The price was a little expensive (4,000 yen per person for two hours), but the course meal was delicious and I was able to get to know the other first-year students and seniors better than ever. We also talked about what we should reflect on regarding the activities of the student committee and talked about our love lives, so I think it was a very good time. December 15, 2023 Hi, I'm Keita. I'll talk about the best-looking photos!!!! All of these characters are very cute and very soothing to look at. This is a photo taken during my lunch break. Two of my friends were sleeping in the same position, which was very interesting, so I captured it with my camera. This is a Christmas tree that was inside a bowling alley. Recently, Christmas trees have been placed in various places such as schools, train stations, and commercial facilities.  December 6, 2023 Hi, I'm Keita. I'll talk about The Best Funny Smash Brothers Tournament. I played Smash Brothers with seven friends at a friend's house during my lunch break. We played tournaments and 8-player games. I was happy that everyone liked my player name, "Kaasa," which I had randomly chosen.  November 21, 2023 Hi, I'm Keita. I'll talk about memories of karaoke. I went to karaoke with my friends. I sang "Subtitle", "Zankyo Sanka", "Takane no Hanako-san", "Erotica Seven", and others. I was impressed and overwhelmed because all my friends had very high notes and their voices sounded like real voices. I was envious of their high voices, because I cannot hit high notes very well and use my back voice to sing. I want to practice so that I can sing high notes songs without using my back voice. We, the student committee, are currently preparing for new student projects such as "the new student consultation meeting" and "Tomosakusai". However, I tried my best to make the poster easy to see and understand for the viewers by using the advice I received from my seniors. November 5, 2023 Hi, I'm Keita! I'll talk about victory of the Hanshin Tigers. The Japan Series of professional baseball was held, with Hanshin and Orix battling it out. In the Japan Series, the first team to win four games wins the championship. However, this year's Japan Series was a close contest, with both teams winning three games each, and the game went all the way to Game 7. In the decisive Game 7, the Hanshin won 7-1 and became the first Japanese champions in 38 years. I had been rooting for the Hanshin team, so I was very happy when the championship was decided. November 3, 2023 Hi, I'm Keita! First, I'll talk about my first perm. I had my first perm at my favorite hair salon. Last time I had brown hair, this time I tried perms. The reason I had a perm this time was because I had never really messed with my hair before and wanted to try different hairstyles and hair colors. In fact, when I tried perming my hair, I was glad I did because it suited me very well and was easy to set up in the morning. I would like to try different hairstyles and hair colors. perm!!!! Next, I'll talk about Halloween Project. The student committee organized a "Halloween project," in which students could win prizes if they ate at the buffet and got a "zero" or a "near pin" on the price.  October 22, 2023 Hello, I'm Keita. In this blog, I'll talk about memories of the Niigata University Festival. I went to Niigata University Festival with my friends from noon. First, I had a fried chicken set meal at a restaurant called "Umekomachi" near Niigata University. It was voluptuous and very tasty!   October 19, 2023 Hello, I'm Keita. In this blog, I'll talk about Impressive baseball game. I played a baseball game with the baseball team of Niigata University School of Medicine at Nakanokuchi Baseball Field. Winning the game by four or more points would advance us to the semifinals. We won the game 7-6. However, I was so frustrated because we were not able to advance the semifinals. The score was tied until the seventh inning, but we were able to turn it around in the eighth, so I thought the players' concentration was amazing. Although I was not able to participate in the game, I was able to support the players as a runner coach, which was good. I want to practice baseball harder than ever so that I can participate in the game in the next game.

October 13, 2023   Hello, I’m Keita. In this blog, I’ll talk about memories of Karaoke. I went to Karaoke with my friends for the first time. I used to hate singing in front of people until I went to Karaoke. However, I found that we can feel better and relieve stress by singing with my friends. Also, I could share the joy and fun of singing with my friends. So, it was very fun.   And what surprised even myself more than anything else was that I went to karaoke twice in one day. So, I was very tired. However, I had a good time because I could sing songs of my favorite artists like Southern All Stars, Official Hige Dandism, Back number, etc. And then I was very happy to sing their songs and get a 90.
